Helen Lea Hammons, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday February 25, 2012 at the age of 74. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at Tara Garden Chapel at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Camp Memorial Park. Rev. David Swieringa, Jr., officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday February 28, 2012 from 5-8 PM. Mrs. Helen Hammons is survived by her husband, Mr. Fred Hammons, Jonesboro; Son, Mike Hammons, Jonesboro; Grandchildren, Sandy and Mike Wingert, Villa Rica; Heather and Charles Hoard, McDonough; Michael and Christy Hammons, Concord; and Scott Wood, McDonough; Great-Grandchildren, Canon & Stella Wingert, Kaylea Hoard and Addy Hammons; Brother, Dean and Ann Rhymer, Mountain City, Tn; Nieces and Nephews and a host of loving friends.
