Horace Benjamin Stover

Mr. Horace B. Stover, 89, of Locust Grove, Georgia entered into rest on Sunday, July 17, 2011. He was the son of the late Jehue Chastain Stover and Mary Elizabeth Wheeler. Mr. Stover retired from Southern Railroad, pastored 3 churches was a member of XYZ club and Triacs. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife: Betty Smith; children: Jehue Stover, Ben Stover, Marlene Davis, Teresa Jones, Reba Whitley; grandchildren: Margaret Avera, Jessica Babb, Sandy Moyer, April Culbreth, Robin Jordan, Jimmy Walker, Johnny Walker, Michael Jones, Robert Jones, Destiny Whitley and 25 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 5PM until 8PM at Tara Garden Chapel 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, Georgia 770-471-7171. Services honoring Mr. Stover will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ben Stover and Rev. Steven Bell officiating.
