Contemporary in Scouting with "Jim Bob" (as I called him) and his family, was the family of Gerald Nichols.  "Jerry's" guest book messages, unreal as it is to believe, are in this same guest book and just a few weeks apart.  If I remember correctly "way back when," a coronary tried to take from us the gift of Bob's life.  Please share with me a prayer of thanksgiving for Bob's being given more time to love more.  We'll see him at Bert Adams.

My Brother was the finest Brother any one could have ever had. I loved him with all my heart. When he was born, he became my live doll. I was eight years older than him. I loved showing him off to my friends, even when we were grown.  If ever a sister was proud of her Brother it was me. He was always there for me, through thick and thin. He was an inspiration to everyone he met, and trust me when I tell you, he never met a stranger. The smile on his face will remain in my heart forever. The talks we had were the best. Bobby I will always love you.

For the members of Cobb Leader Weekend Committee ( Girls Scouts of Greater Atlanta Council)  I want to let you know that Bob's Family are in our prays. He was one of the best men it was our honor to know. We enjoyed him and his friends coming to cook for us on our weekends in Winder. And still talk about them to this day. Bob will truly be missed by many.

I've been thinking about all of you a great deal. Bobby ("pop") was a great guy, and he was always good to me. I will miss him. I know this must be very hard on all of you, and I wish there was something I could do to ease your pain.

It is so hard to believe that yet another great light stopped shining here on earth.  We are truly spiritual beings having a temporary physical human experience.  The time seems to have come too soon for Uncle Bobby to leave us.  His death leaves us all with a hollowness in our hearts.  The tears we shed in the last few days demonstrate the pain we sense from this physical loss.  However,  I know that Uncle Bobby's light will shine eternally in all the lives of those he touched.  I have been reminiscing on the years gone by and the solid impact he had on my individual life. He taught us all so many lessons...To love deeply, to enjoy life, to live to the fullest everyday, to choose to stand up for what we believe in, to know when to hold on and when to let go and to quietly and gently sleep peacefully when we are called Home. I know that many people both near and far are holding fond memories.  Uncle Bobby will be an internal light in all of our lives.  His light will forever shine even though we cannot reach out and touch him we can always communicate with him.

I am so sorry for your loss Walden Family!  Sending your prayers your way.  I am sorry that we can not attend the services but are there with you in spirit!

Susan & family simple words cannot comfort you at this time of sorrow & reflections of Jim-Bob's life & passing be reassured GOD will hold ya'll steadfast during this time.
Jim-Bob endeared himself to us when we first met with the way he joked with me like we knew each other along time,he was one of the few who had a humor that was disarming to folks he "picked on".
We will miss him dearly but GOD saw Jim-Bob tired but still carrying on & decided to "bring him home". May he rest in peace.

Love you all so very much and am praying for you. No words can expess my sorrow. Bob made a great impact in my life and many other boys and girls through Scouting. He is the very image of a Scouter and stands for all the good things in Scouting I remember.i will never forget lessons he taught me. I will especially never forget that he stood for me. No matter what others thought or said, Bob knew who I was and let anybody know about it if they suggested otherwise. 
He is one of the best men I ever had the fortune of meeting.
The bright spot is we KNOW where Bob is. And we know we will join him there. God Bless you all & keep you in these difficult times.

The 1958 Class of Roosevelt High School would like to extend heart felt sympathy to our beloved classmate Delores "Dee" Walden Davis in the passing of her younger brother, James Lamar Walden, RHS '66.  May God send His Holy Comforter to watch over "Dee" and all of the Walden Family.  It is so hard to loose a loved one, but God has called an Angel Home in James.  Our Love goes out to James's wife and children and grandchildren, may God always be with you, and hold you in the Palm of His Hand.

Lou: Just a few short years ago we started a city together. I have thought of you often and will remember you always. What a wealth of knowledge you passed on to me and the comrade was great.

Jim, whenever I see any Automatic Signal equipment I think of you and how you had to school Tom and I on the intricacies of how to hook it up! Many of your ideas will live on in the traffic field -despite your kidding assertion that you knew nothing of the traffic industry!

Jim, gone too soon....I have missed your Vietnam stories...your great stories about your grands...your committment to the cure and research for Autism...your boyscouts...and that fraternal order you belonged too(selling tickets so I can get "a decent car" as you would say. I wanted to give you another sweet potatoe pie, or meet you at the Taco place and hear aall those Johns Creek stories we shared...OH HOW I HAVE and WILL MISS YOU...you will forever be in my heart...my big brother Jim RIP

Jim Walden, you will be truly missed.  He was a strong part of our team at CH2M HILL for the City of Johns Creek and he also kept us laughing and full of smiles.  Will never forget his laugh!  May he rest in peace.  May your family be comforted and given strength through the love of Jesus Christ.  Healing is on the way.
