Jayne Heather Burch Freeman passed on August 12, 2024. She lived 69 years and was gone way too soon. She was born in London, England and moved to the United States when she was 8 years old.
Everyone that has met Heather, even for a few brief moments, says that she was the sweetest woman and had always made them feel welcome, included, and loved. She had open arms for anyone. Heather made everyone feel special and she gave immensely. She was completely selfless, putting others before herself, caring for others, and giving to herself last.
Heather retired in the hospitality industry, always serving. She loved Jesus and Christian music. Gardening was her time of peace. Heather was a strong woman and a fighter. She even ran a half marathon and many Peachtree Road Races. She was a quilter. She hand-made the most beautiful and high quality quilts. She loved crafting and sent everyone hand-made cards. She loved her hair and had it all the way down her back her whole life.
Heather valued all people. There aren't even words to describe how amazing she was.
Heather is survived by her husband Michael Freeman, son Benjamin Freeman, daughter Hayley McCurdy, daughter Simone and her 4 grandchildren, Jamison Freeman, Jessa Freeman, Mikayla McCurdy, and Kinley McCurdy. She is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews, cousins, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and numerous friends.
