August 15, 1925August 22, 2011

Jessie Ross White was born August 15, 1925 in the city of Stuart, Florida. She was the second child of the late Cora Ross. She received her early education in Martin County. She was an excellent student and excelled in basketball. She attended Florida A& M University in Tallahassee where she received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. On December 27, 1948 she committed her life in love to Dr. James Ernest White (deceased) to celebrate fifty years of marriage. The best of her life was their love overflowing into the birth of four children. James Ernest,Jr., Janis Elaine, Kathy Dianne and Kelwyn Leon. The greatest joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren Nicholas, Kenneth, Jarvis and Kennedy MyKel. Jessie was a caring and giving spirit. She spent forty years in a fruitful and rewarding career as registered nurse with Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida and Indian River Hospital, Vero Beach, Florida. She positively impacted the lives of countless people as she shared her gift in healthcare. Her love for the Lord was great and demonstrated daily as she spent hours nurturing her faith, boldly sharing her beliefs with everyone she came in contact. On Monday, August 22, 2011 Jessie answered the call home to be with the Lord. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was loyal to many and loved them unconditionally. Jessie leaves to affectionately celebrate her memories her loving children, grandchildren, daughters and son-in laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. oro, GA.
