Mrs.Jimmie Dee Dowdy of Hampton Georgia, was born September 23, 1921 and passed away Decembr 17, 2014 at the age of 93. She leaves to cherish her precious memories,one son; Zibe (Karen) Dowdy, one daughter; Deloris (Randy) Dowdy, four grandchildren; Nathaniel Dowdy, Zachery Dowdy, Jeffrey Whitaker and Lori Whitaker-Judy, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dowdy was a member of Lovejoy Baptist Church. She will forever be a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 12:30am-2:00pm at Tara Garden Chapel in Jonesboro, Georgia. Following the visitaion the Funeral Service will begin at 2pm . The interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Georgia.
