Happy Thanksgiving!!  You wouldn’t believe how many grandkids I have now?? lol  12!! 
I talk about you to Kason and Isabella and how you love the Vols. Each time they play I watch the game and think of you. So much has happened and it’s been rough honestly but I still manage to continue on. Mom helps me a lot listening and encouraging me. 
This time of year I  think of the shopping together we did  to get mom her special gift from you and then our time we had together. Bethany and Danny Sr go every year shopping and then lunch. It brings so many good memories.  I miss you a lot! ❤️

Happy Birthday John.  It's been 9 yrs  and so much has happened and changed. I remember this day as it was yesterday.  The grandkids are all growing up with kids of their own. Kyler has his learner's now and gone to his first prom dance last week. You were always around to tie the ties for Doug when you needed to. I have 15 great grandchildren  and growing as fast as the grandkids did. Wish you could be here to make them laugh like the others did. We all miss you . Thinking of old times and the memories we all had as a family. Until we meet

Good morning Dear. It's been awhile since I've been on this site but still think of you and how life has changed in nearly 8 yrs later. I wonder sometimes how you would of helped out. I know Cindy would of loved to have you here to  give her your hugs to reassure her things will be alright. The grandkids and great grandkids are all growing so fast. I miss you calling me wishing me a Happy Thanksgiving, not just send me a text. This time of year is harder for me, I miss the shopping together, lunches, talks and you always looking out for me. You had your way of always showing me how much you cared and loved me. 
Danny Sr has started taking Bethany shopping to help with the grandkids a few years ago, I’m glad they will have those memories as she gets older like us.

Hi Honey, I haven't written in awhile but not because I haven't thought of you. You will always be in my memories and a part of me. You were part of my life half of my life so its not like you will be forgotten. I prayed for two years to help me get thru the grieving and to accept that you were gone and I need to move on with my life. Your sisters were always helping me to understand that you wouldn't want me to grieve forever and not make a life for myself. It has been hard to see that I could move on. After I celebrated your 2 years gone I prayed to God to help me move on with life. I would want you to do the same if the wheels were turned. As I have moved on to live again, you will always be a part of me. Life is good and we will see each other again in another place and another time. We all miss you and love you.

Just wanted to write ..let you know I haven't forgotten you. I love you so much. There's this song.. Called "See you again" by Carrie Underwood and when I hear it I always think of you. And pretty much fall apart. The kids miss you, especially Kyler. He misses you like crazy. I don't know why but when I don't write you..it makes me think that maybe you think that I've forgotten you. Hi Honey, Its spring now and the trees and flowers are in bloom. If you look around up there you'll see my mom. She left Debbie and I Wednesday April 23 to be with the Lord. She had a very short illness so she didn't suffer long. Debbie and I was with her on Easter and the days that followed until Wednesday nite. It's so hard losing the ones you love. I haven't adjusted from you being gone and now Mom is gone too. When I stop and look around sometimes I feel I'm in a different world. I always feel I don't belong there and then I come home to my animals and I feel comfort. I'm still looking after Phil but he's failing fast too. I miss you so much and your birthday is coming up less than a month. I just wanted to let you know you're always on my mind and in my heart. I love you xo

Hi Honey, The holidays are over and Ive waited till now to talk to you before the end of the year. I hope you had a Merry Christmas with the family. All the kids, grandkids and great grandkids were over. Im trying to keep the family together on holidays as we did together and it was so much better with all the feast to eat and your funny jokes. I realize life is never going to be like it was when you were here. I miss you so terribly much. Everybody is moving on with life trying to make the best of what they have. Phil is not doing well but taking each day as it comes but waiting till the day he can be with Bonnie. I feel you're with me everyday and just a few days ago I was thinking of calling you and Bonnie. The two people I talked with everyday. I hope 2014 will be a better year for all of us.I'll always have you on my mind no matter what I do. Hi Honey, It's November already and the holidays are coming too soon. I miss you so much and wish you could be here to snuggle up to watching the fire with me.I sit here thinking of you and wondering what we would be doing. Hi Honey,Its September now and time is moving on but I feel I don't need to be here. I miss you so much and cant seem to move on. Everything stopped the day you left me. Its been a bit since I have wrote to you. I know this is a 'guestbook' but I write a lot..it makes me feel like I'm talking to you, soo I don't care if anyone thinks I'm nuts lol.  The past cpl. Wks have been confusing and I have been dreading the month of May...BC in 2 days it will be 1 yr since you passed and idk how it will feel to me. Itwill aLSO be your birthday. I had a dream last night I walked into a room and you were sitting there with the biggest smile ..I just remember running to you and giving you the biggest hug and started to cry. The kids are growing and kylee sees your pics on mydresser mirror and says tthat's grandpa! Kyler has your pics in his room..nanny even made him a collage frame with pics of you and him from him being born and on. He cries when he hears a song that reminds him of you. He misses u. Along with everyone else. I love you....so much. Xoxoxoxo

Sorry I didn't write on Easter . We had easter with Chris parents on Saturday. But Easter sunday....I saw nobody from ours. We didn't make it to church..which I feel is kind of a good thing BC afterwards at lunch poppy had a stroke at the restaurant. Turned out it didn't affect anything he's OK. I'm so paranoid and I freak out and I guess overreact with everyone since you have passed. I'm scared to loose anyone else. I couldn't go through it again...I'm still not even healed or over the fact that you aren't here. 

I know I've said before...I just miss you...that laugh it was so contagious I'll never forget it. Or nething of my 25 yrs I was blessed to have you as my pawpaw. I miss u more than u could imagine. I love u. Xoxoxo

Happy Easter Honey, Today has been a very lonely day without you here. Words can't explain how much I miss you every day. I view your memorial all the time to see all the history we made together. I wish you were a phone call away. I remember all the Easter times we had all the kids over to hide eggs and pig out on food. They're all grown up now and times are much different now. With you gone everything is different now and I wish you could still be here with me. I visited Phil today and he also misses you and Bonnie as much as I. I love you so much and I will end this now until the next time. xo

I was telling nanny yesterday how i used to use your sprayon deodorant lol...and that time in hampton shores you had IT sitting out ( i thought..but obv i was notttt paying attn) bc i sprayed as usual..walked out the bathroom realizing my armpits were STICKING!! i remember sayin ewwwwww! And you heard me and we realized i sprayed your HAIRSPRAY UNDER MY ARMS! HAHAH we have so many funny times. Im prob the only one laughing but just writing our memories makes me feel a little better.

Hi Honey, I see Ashlee has been talking to you as we talk about you all the time. Kyler is with me tonight and he was telling me how he cried at school thinking about you. We looked thru some things I had from our past and he always enjoys that even though he has tears in his eyes. He will start to tell me something about you  and he will say, dont cry Nanny. We miss you so much, I wish I could turn the clock back to be in your arms again. I suppose you're sitting around with Mike,Bill and your Mom laughing. It was another shock to hear Mike joined you a couple of days ago. That was a shock as it was when you left us. We just don't know what God has planned for us. These 9 months since you been gone has been miserable and I know it will take time but Im not sure life will ever be ok for I know without you I will never be the same. When you left you took my heart with you. Right now God has blessed me the ability to take care of Phil and thats what I do daily. I told Bonnie I would take care of Phil so I know she knows I am. He would like to be up there with all of you but God says its not his time. I could talk all night to you but I got to save word for our anniversary coming up. So until then I love you. xo

Merry Christmas Honey, I missed you so very much today. I felt I was only here in body. Nothing feels alive without you here. I feel like I need to call you when anything goes on and as I look at your pictures and talk about time we spent together it doesnt seem real you're gone until I think of the day I got the phone call you were gone. Ashlee seem to be here in body only today. She misses you so much and we're having a hard time moving on without you here. I know you wouldnt want us to feel so empty without you here but no one seems to understand the emptinesswe we feel.You made us laugh with your jokes and Kyler says he wished you didnt have to leave us so soon.The kids missed your Santa Claus role you played. Course, it's me. I'm sitting here on the couch , as Kylee plays over and over again the dancing Santa that sings jingle bell rock. And as I keep hearing it play over and over it brings back memories from Christmastime when you and nanny lived in Hampton shores when dancing Santa was on the counter and US kids would climb up in the stool chairs to turn him on and play him over and over. I thought thanksgiving was going to be hard..but I kept it together, Christmas is different story bc u always made it special .I can't even think about Christmas without tearing up  .I miss u so much. Honey,Thanksgiving is over and its all quiet again. We missed your body in the room but your spirit was with all of us.We talked about the silly things you used to say and do. The food didnt taste the same without your touch. My heart feels so empty and I feel I just go thru the motions. Ive collected several pictures to add to your guest book of some of the good times.It helps to go thru the pictures of the past as if you're still here with us. Im not looking forward to Christmas cause you know that was always my favorite holiday with the family but its going to be different this year. Honey,Its exactly 5 months today since I last saw you laying there as if you were asleep.You are on my mind every minute of the day every where I go just like you always were when we were together. I think about you constantly. It's still so unreal to me. You were always there for me. When I was too sick you would drive me to the Dr, or u would bring me medicine to help. O i cant forget when u got ur iphone trying to teach that to u :) hahah..Kyler and Kyle love you. Especially kyler, you are The coolest thing. HIS GRANDPA. he says. He keeps a pic by his bed.just about everyone of my childhood memories are u and nanny so it's hard to think and u not be there.u were such an amazing papaw to me and Josh and my kids.
