Katie Stephens

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mitcheal L. Stephens of Winder, GA, by her brothers Ernest and Ben McKinney, and sisters Ann Malasitt, Nadine White, and Kathleen Tanner.

She is survived by her sister Bobbie Jean Grindle, her children Theresa and her husband Steve Kiser, Wesley and his wife Karen, Ricky and his wife Mary Linda, Sandra and her husband Mark Nader, granddaughters Stephanie and Sandy, grandsons Michael, Skylar, Zackery, Bradley, and Brandon, great grandsons Alex, Jason, Cameron, Memphis, Miles, and Charlie - as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Katie was an active member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle Church and was a woman of faith, hope, and abundant good humor. She will be truly missed by her family and many friends. The family appreciates your prayers and support as we congregate to celebrate a life both joyful and well lived.

Receiving of family and friends will be Saturday, June 7th 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Avenue, Jonesboro, GA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2:30 p.m. at the Harvest Baptist Tabernacle Church at 1974 Walt Stephens Rd, Jonesboro GA. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, Katie asked for donations to the debt relief fund for the Harvest Baptist Tabernacle Church.
