LeRoy E. Amon, 84, of Riverdale, Georgia entered into rest on September 25, 2011. He was the son of the late Fred and Nola Amon. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 64 years: Lucille C. Amon; children: JoAnn Paden, Richard Lee Amon, Robert E. Amon, and Richard Leon Amon; sisters: Margaret Trish, Dorothy Mayard, and Alice Otwell; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 5-7PM at Tara Garden Chapel 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, Georgia 30236 770-471-7171. Services honoring Mr. Amon will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2PM in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Manning officiating.
