Mother Howard was instrumental in my spiritual development while attending Greater Friendly Temple from 1989-1992. After leaving Anchorage and transitioning to Ft Steward, Ga. some years later, she welcomed my daughter and I into her home when our post was hit by a hurricane. She took very good care of us during our stay. She was the epitome of a lady and was certainly a true woman of God. She will be sorely missed!

Mother Howard was an instrumental part of my childhood in Anchorage, Alaska, Friendly Church of God in Christ. She and Mother (Geneva) Parks helped raise me and instilled many Godly values while I was growing up as a child in Anchorage. The values they taught me still influence me as an adult and I will be forever grateful to have known her. I still remember her gentle and kind spirit, but yet firm correction. She always showed love and compassion and always made me feel loved and secure in who I was. I will always remember her unwavering faith in God. May she rest in heavenly and eternal peace. My prayers and condolences to her family and friends.
