

He was born to Glenn and Ethelyn Willis, on March 7, 1959 in Atlanta, GA. Mark graduated from Forest Park Senior High School.
Mark is survived by his mother; Ethelyn Willis, Daughter; Crystal Knighton and husband Adam, Grandchildren; Caleb, Blayne and Addisyn Knighton, Brother; Joel Willis, Sister; Glenda Shelton-Fowler, Partner Brenda Cypress, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Mark was predeceased by his father Glenn Willis.
Mark was known for his huge heart. He was a man of few words that never failed to say "I love you." Mark was a faithful fan of the Atlanta Braves, even through his disappointment of the Braves not playing at the present time, and having to watch "re-runs" he remained a faithful fan. Mark enjoyed playing guitar and singing with his nephew Joshua Shelton. He also enjoyed the company of his life long friend Pat Dyer, whom he always described as Rod Stewarts doppelganger. Mark loved with his whole heart, he found love in Brenda. Mark's pride resided in his daughter. Mark moved at his own pace even causing his son in-law to almost be late to his wedding to Mark's daughter. Mark was his Mother's biggest fan ending their nightly phone call's with "I love you."
Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Tara Garden Chapel located at 681 North Avenue in Jonesboro GA. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 4 pm in the chapel. Interment will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 1 pm.
