Mrs. Mary Genie Genevier Miller

Mrs. Mary Geneva (Genie) Miller, age 71, of Hampton, Georgia, passed away on November 13, 2015. Mrs. Miller worked for the Clayton County School Food Service for 28 years until her retirement. After retirement, her greatest joy was the time spent with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and her pet birds. She will always be known as a wonderful and beautiful wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her loving husband, Arnold Ray Miller; her son, Bo Miler; her daughter, Becky Haar; her grandchildren: Phillip Haar, Jacob Haar, Austin Miller, and Amber Miller; and her brother, Herschel. Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents, Herschel T. & Ruby G. Dockery; her brothers: Calvin, Carlton, JW, Robert, and Paul; her sisters: Lucille, Ruth, Opal, Lois, Gladys, Edith, Elizabeth, and Shirley.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 3-7pm at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home, Jonesboro, Georgia. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev. Rick Whitlock and the Rev. Ted Cannon will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
