Mom was an exceptionally church going individual, she taught Sunday school, served on the bus ministry, and assisted in the nursery. She enjoyed working with children. She was a nursery teacher for a long time until retirement and then she became a homemaker once more. She wanted every one of her children to know and Love the Lord as she did. She was a Godly woman who cherished the Lord
MINNIE is survived by; son Edward and Pat Sargent; son Wayne Sargent; daughter Carolyn and Robert Thomas; and daughter Pat Carroll; grandchildren Lynn, Penny, Kristie, Tammy, Kim, Jay, Tony, Gene, Theresa, Tonya, Keith, Amanda, Michael, and Kristine.
MINNIE was preceded in death by; son-in-law Snowie Carroll; father Andrew Hairis and mother Janie Hairis; brother Junior Hairis.
A visitation for MINNIE will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Avenue, Jonesboro, GA 30236. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive, Atlanta, GA 30310.
