Dear Toni and the entire Cockerham family,

Please accept my deepest condolences during this difficult time. My heart is with you as you navigate the loss of someone so special. Myra was more than a friend to me — she was family in every way that mattered.

On a personal note, I will always cherish the memories we shared. Myra had a way of making every moment feel light, joyful, and meaningful. I can still hear her voice calling me “Santos,” and I will always smile remembering how I called her “Cockerham” in return. It was our thing — a connection I will hold onto forever.

I had no idea that November 6th would be the last day I would get to speak with her. She never let on that she was feeling that bad. That was Myra — strong, private, and always thinking of others even when she was hurting. It breaks my heart, but I am grateful for every conversation, every laugh, and every moment we shared.
I will miss her calls and her texts. We didn’t speak every day, but whenever we did, we picked up as if we had just talked yesterday. That kind of friendship is rare, and I am blessed to have had her in my life.

Myra, my dear friend, you will be missed more than words can express. I will carry your memory, your laughter, and your love with me always. One day, we’ll meet again.

Our condolences & prayers to Toni. She was indeed a joy to know. She became a part of Grief as I walked throughout my day-to-day duties. As Toni became my friend, Myra became my friend. She will be missed.  I met Myra through my husband & her wife Toni @ Grief. Myra was detailed in helping me (Yvette) make my walk-in closet a dream. Myra spent time figuring out what I wanted but not only that she was funny and loving. I’m so sorry we couldn’t make it due to my recovery of Surgery & Kerwin’s ailments in his knees; our prayers & love are forever with you.

Myra’s illness came so quickly and was so heavy to hear. It is heartbreaking to lose someone so good so soon. Myra touched our family with her gentle strength and humility. She lived her kindness.

So many memories of the laughter shared at the games behind our home church (softball, flag football, vacation bible school and even Easter egg hunts) . My condolences to the Cockerham family.   I knew Myra in elementary and high school.  We lost touch over the years but I always admired her strength and her ability to give a great tackle when we played flag football.  We were on the winning team!  She will be missed.  Prayers to her family and friends.

Omg, I am so sorry Toni. I just got the news, my condolences to you 💔 my love & prayers are with you. Please know I am here if you should me or if you should need anything.  I didn't know Myra that long, but, when we met it was as if I knew her already. We had a connection & she was always there whenever I needed her. It truly was a blessing spending time with her, and as  I sit writing & thinking about her I can see that smile she always had on her face whenever we talked. She was a beautiful angel sent by God to spend a little time with us.
She will be missed, I will remember her for her loving & caring spirit.
