She is survived by her husband, Jackie Kimbell; her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Vladimir Svidesskis; and their children Christopher and Nadya; her step-daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Jason Pennington; and their daughter Alexia; her step-son Shane Kimbell; her grandson Stevan Bowen and her great grandson, Zayden.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents William and Marie Harvey; her daughter, Holly Cirka; and her sister June.
She attended Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia where she was an active singer and All-state Clarinet player. Peggy is a longtime resident of Forest Park, Georgia, where she lived after leaving Norfolk, Virginia in 1977.
Occupations always had her working in offices and management but her true joy was singing. She grew up singing in jazz clubs, and later singing in choirs, worship teams and as a soloist. She even taught worship seminars.
Visitation and Fellowship will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 10am until Noon at the Ole Country Church in McDonough. Immediately following will be Peggy’s life Celebration Service at the church with Pastor Robert Vines officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
