Peter A. Seymour

Peter was a proud soldier in the US Air Force. He served as an Aircraft Mechanic from July 1966 to July 1970. He would later set his sights on providing a service to the public by delivering delicious baked goods as a truck driver for Keebler Cookie Company. He was a known sports lover. He was a fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Seattle Seahawks.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents; Melvin Seymour and Ida Carey, his brothers; Richard Seymour and Fred Seymour, and his sister; Minnie Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife; Beverly Seymour, his brother; Irving Seymour, his sons; Trevor Seymour and Devin Seymour, both of Miami, FL, his daughter; Audra Brock of Dallas, TX, his five granddaughters; Christina Stokes of Washington DC, Monique Seymour of Kingstree, SC, Sierra Seymour of Kingstree, SC, Sydney Brock of Dallas, TX and Diamond Seymour of Miami, FL, his five grandsons; Darius Seymour of Dallas, TX, Devin Seymour Jr., of Dallas, GA, Demetris Seymour of Dallas, GA, Alexander Seymour of Miami, FL and Derrick Seymour of Dallas, GA, his two great-grandsons; Pierre Cook Jr., of Washington, DC and King Montgomery of Kingstree, SC, his two great-granddaughters; Amari Seymour of Dallas, GA and Zephaniah Turner of Kingstree, SC, and a host of close family and friends.

A memorial service for Peter will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Ave, Jonesboro, GA 30236
