I was so sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Gage. I never met him personally, but I feel as if I knew him through the pictures I've seen, and the stories that were told to me by my friend, Gina. Gina has expressed to me many times that Mr. Gage was much more of a father to her than her own father ever was. Whenever she talked about him, she affectionatly called him "Dad". She provided for him, cared for him, and loved him with her whole heart. I believe that blood doesn't make a family- love does. I know that Gina was a daughter in Mr. Gage's heart just like he was a father in hers. Be comforted, Gina, in the knowledge that you did right by your Dad. May his soul rest in peace.

Hey grandpa sorry i wasn't able to come see you before you passed to heaven with grandma and di. You know I love you and miss you always. I will never forget all the time Gina and I would play fight. You would always laugh at us and say I know better then to get in between two women. Or when you would be hard headed (see i told everyone i came by honestly being hard headed) and try to help do things. Tell grandma and di i love and miss them too. Until we reunite in heaven know you will always be in my heart. ❤

Dad, I am going to miss our talks and all our times together. All our jokes and laughing at the dogs and dog/cat. I will miss your popping in to give me news updates n weather reports but mostly I will miss you. The house is so lonely without you. You were so special to me, the father I didn't have. Thank you for coming into my life and thank you for being a part of my heart. I love you greatly. And your grandpups n grandcat misses you too. Love Gina
