Sylvia Ann Hall

On the morning of September 5, 2021, the Lord called her home to rest and to be reunited with the love of her life, Tommie Earl Hall, and her late brother, Eric Anthony Stephens.

After the passing of her mother, she was raised alongside five of her siblings by her late grandparents, Ben and Susie Bell Salter, and initially attended school in Escambia County, AL. Tina and her siblings later moved to Deland, Florida to live with her father before moving to Atlanta, where she graduated from Walker High School, class of 1981.

Tina loved helping others and enjoyed providing customer service at Sam’s Club, where she diligently worked for over 32 years. Outside of work, Tina was extremely family-oriented and especially loved being around her grandchildren and family members. She also knew God, was a faithful churchgoer, and loved to attend gospel concerts. Tina took special pride in her attire and loved to dress, matching from head to toe, especially her favorite print- leopard. She worked hard to make sure she provided for her family and was known to travel near and far to show up for every special occasion. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for her sons and loved ones.

Tina’s loving spirit and fondest memories will especially be cherished by her two devoted sons: Terry Stephens of Riverdale, GA, and Terrell Stephens of Atmore, AL; six sisters: Shermanita Salter (Kenneth) Wynn of Stone Mountain, GA, Angelia Salter of Detroit, Michigan, Karen Stephens of Atmore, AL, Angela Stephens Palmer of Columbus, GA, Wanda Stephens of Pensacola, FL, and Marilyn Hamilton of Atlantic City, NJ; two brothers and a brother-in-law: Robert Stephens, Jr.of Dallas, TX, Clarence Stephens of Montgomery, AL, Kenneth Wynn of Stone Mountain, GA; nine grandchildren, Chase James, Jaylen Gates, the late Jayshawn Carter, Janiya Stephens, Aniyah Stephens, Terry Stephens, Jr., Jayshawn Stephens, Chancelee Stephens, and Terrell Stephens, Jr.; a special niece and a host of nieces and nephews: Arlaidra Salter, Andrea Jackson, Lakedra Stephens, Kenyatta McCants, Devontae Stephens, Ketara Salter, Erica Stephens, Reyshawn Stephens; plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
