Treasure was born on June 1st, 2000, in Decatur Ga to Carol Thomas. From the very beginning, Treasure was just that… ‘A Treasure” birthed into this world with the odds not in his favor, meant absolutely nothing to him, because that never stopped Treasure. He was the baby of the bunch… His older siblings, Lafayette, Irish, and Everline were there to nurture, straighten out, tighten up, and made sure Treasure was ready for the world.
Treasure was well known... If you knew Carol… You knew Treasure... he was raised in the hair salon (Literally) … and when he wasn’t in the salon, you could find him at somebody’s skating rink… That boy loved to skate and talk to girls...
Treasure had many proud accomplishments… Treasure attended Solid Rock Academy most of his academic career. He later graduated from McDonough High School (C/O 2019) . He became a member of Real Inspirations Ministries in 2015, where he served diligently as one of God’s Helpers! He didn’t miss a Sunday ( kinda hard to miss a Sunday when your Mama was an Elder -Elect and your Ma was a Deacon ) Treasure later graduated from CEI Hair Schools, Barbering Division in 2020, and worked a short stent with his mom in her salon ,before he came to terms that he needed a real job…
On one side, Treasure was full of life, and excitement! You could almost add the word “adventure” between any one of his names… And on the other side..his loving, kind self would give you the shirt off his back, if he knew it would make you feel better. He had a kindred spirit… he was selfless, funny, shy, loud, and quiet at the same time…. you had to know him to understand
Treasure loved his brothers Lafayette, Dequan, and Trevon... If you let Treasure tell it... him, Dequan and Tre ran the city of McDonough, Downtown Atlanta... and other demographics they would lowkey talk about... as if they mamas didn’t know…Lafayette was big Bro through and through …If Lafayette did it, that was good enough motivation for Treasure to do it too…
Above all, Treasure cherished his family and friends. his affectionate smile will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
