Walt was a good brother-in-law from a family of interesting individuals. I always enjoyed listening to all his stories and anecdotes from his years in air freight and Coast Guard service.
Always nice to see him and visit with him over all these years. He will be missed by all of us.

I worked with Walter for many years.  I remember the vast knowledge he possessed of the airfreight industry.  But even more so, I remember him for his laughter and his easy going nature.  He was truly a wonderful person.  My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family.  Let the memories bring you comfort.

I work for John S. James in Savannah. Walter and I finally met after many years of talking on the telephone. Walter came to Savannah after he retired I think is was just passing though. When Walter retired he love to be with his grandchildren. We will miss you Walter. Farrolyn

I worked with Walter for thirty-one years at John S. James Co.  He was highly respected for his knowledge in the air freight industry.  Walter had such a great sense of humor and still holds the record for making me laugh. We've lost a wonderful person.  My prayers go out to the family. Jan

I had the privilege of working with Walter for many years in Atlanta. I always remember his laughter as well as his kindness towards others. Every time he shared a story with us regarding his family you could tell how much he loved each of you. Hopefully you can find some peace in the memories of you have of him over the years.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Walter.  He was a long time and valued member of our John S. James family.  Walter was a kind-hearted generous individual who never lacked for a story - and he had some good ones! We have sincerely missed him since his retirement, and we are saddened by the loss of such a great man.  Each of us at JSJ offer our deepest sympathy to his cherished family members.

I worked with Walter at John S. James Co. for many years.  I was in Charleston and Walter was my "go to" on any question regarding air freight.  We also had long talks about his love for his children.  I agree, when he lost Deb, a part of him went with her.  I am so shocked and send my most heartfelt sympathy.

I worked with Walter at John S. James. What a wonderful man - honest, hard-working, friendly. When Deb died, his heart went with her, but he righted himself and went on with his life and enjoyed his grandchildren. I know you will miss him terribly.
