Born on November 21, 1958, in Bayonne, New Jersey, Alan attended John P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey, before continuing his education at Florida State University, where he graduated with a double major in Business and Economics. During his college years, he was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) fraternity.
Following graduation, Alan moved to Chicago, Illinois, where he began his career with Sea-Land Service. It was there, at the Chicago Health and Fitness gym, that fate brought him together with Linda, a young woman from Florida who was visiting Chicago on vacation. When Linda returned home, Alan eventually followed her back to Florida, beginning a beautiful love story that would span 42 wonderful years of marriage.
Together, Alan and Linda built not only a loving family but also a successful business. They founded RE/MAX Advantage Plus, headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, which grew to include several offices throughout Palm Beach County.
Alan’s dedication and leadership earned him numerous professional honors. He served on the Advisory Council for RE/MAX International, and his brokerage was recognized among the top 500 brokerages in the United States by REAL Trends. He was also featured in Who’s Who in Real Estate and received multiple industry awards throughout his distinguished career.
Yet beyond his professional accomplishments, Alan’s greatest joy was his family.
He loved spending time on the water, boating and deep-sea fishing, playing golf, and cheering on his favorite Miami Dolphins and Florida State Seminoles. Some of his happiest moments were the simplest ones: watching his son wakeboard, listening to his daughter sing, sharing laughter with friends and family, and being surrounded by the people and animals he loved.
Alan will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for his love for those closest to him. His life was a reflection of hard work, dedication, and the importance of family. The memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
