Since we met as children, Alison has been a strong and consistent "thread" in my life.  She is a person who grew into her beauty, intellectually, spiritually, and physically.  My deepest sympathies for Philip and Alix.  Greta Wingate

Alison's gentle spirit and loving ways touched many people. I met Alison in third grade at St. Paul's, she was the first girl that I would say I liked.  She was always kind and quiet someone that was good to be friends with.  Rest in peace Alison, and to her family my deepest sympathy.

My first memory of Alison was after interviewing as an applicant to training and coming back to the Hospitality Room to wait..and wait! There she was quietly sitting with such a beautiful, warm and supportive smile, kind words and a welcoming hug. What a lovely, gracious spirit she brought to us all. We will miss you, Alison.

Alison is going to be missed by so many...especially Philip and Alex.  Her voice remains in my ear as I recall times of laughter and tears.  Her light continues to shine in my heart even though I cannot see her.  I will continue to love her.

I haven't seen Alison for 40 years but thanks to the internet we reconnected via email for the past two years, albeit not frequently. She and I dated while in High School and College and so shared  important experiences together. I have only vague knowledge of her life since then but in her emails to me recently she seemed happy and settled. I will miss her and am sure many others will as well.

I met Alison 40 years ago in college. Our little wing of girls quickly became good friends. Back then, we used to eat meatball grinders from the deli while huddled together in those tiny rooms. We used to get dressed for mixers to "mood music" (Johnny Mathis). I was always envious of her calm and her natural beauty and sense of style.
Over the years we all remained close. I saw her less because I moved West but the news flowed freely and I always felt that she was an important part of my life. The few times I was able to join the reunions, it was like we'd seen each other last week. 
Our little group was lucky enough to get together in Florida a few years ago thanks to an sweet old dog. I got to meet her husband and her beautiful daughter Alex. Her home was as lovely as she was and gave off a serene aura. But now I could see her strength, her determination and her inner beauty. 
I will miss her so much.
The photographs and memories have become even more important.Godspeed, Ali.

I met Alison in training where I experienced her as deeply rooted in generosity, love, beauty and intelligent insight.  Alison's commitment to healing, and her courage to engage with the terrifying moments in life are evident in the dedication she gave to her short but intense journey with cancer. I am deeply saddened that I will not have further opportunities to know Alison because the gifts she offered in these few months time are plentiful and humbling. I send my thoughts and prayers to her husband and daughter and to all those who knew her so well. She will most certainly be missed!

I became very close to Alison over the past few years. She got me through the roughest times in my life. From the moment I met her I called her my angel and she was often my "reset button" in life. She was the most amazing angel I have ever been blessed with. She taught me strength, love, forgiveness and to focus on all that is good in the world. We will all miss her more then words will ever be able to express. She will be loved always and never forgotten.

I feel certain that you are very close by.  You brought light into every room you entered and every conversation you shared.  You seemed to breathe out beauty, not only in how you carried yourself, but also in how you dressed, and how you made a home beautiful.  Relationships blossomed with your soft witness. Everyone I spoke to that has learned of your passing seemed to lose the ability to breathe, for an instant... time has stopped for all of us, while you are fitted with radiant wings.

I was so sorry to learn of Alison's passing.  I feel privileged to have known her for the last 4 years as a 'littermate' in training.  She was always so kind and thoughtful.  I admire her calm gentle spirit and the strength and courage with which she met this illness.  I will miss her.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

I was Alison's supervisor and a frequent instructor at the Florida seminar.  In the beginning Alison was always the quiet, attractive one sitting in the corner who you just knew that there was so much more going on inside because of her furrowed brow -- and the smoke coming out of ears. She began speaking up in recent years and we all found out the depth of character of who she was underneath it all. She was a woman of such wisdom and integrity dedicated to doing the very best by her patients. I will miss her becoming a colleague and friend immensely.

The brief moments we shared together were enough to tell me how huge was your spirit. We laughed, conversed, challenged one another in our thoughts and with encouragement moved forward in our training. You will be missed immensely.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  I remember Alison as a vibrant, strong woman with depth and a persevering spirit.  No doubt her passing is a great loss to her family and all who have known her.

Rudy and I feel so blessed to have known Alison. She always had a smile for us and kind words to share with us. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
