Anne Marie Bernadette Moucot -Laverty passed away after a long illness in her home in Jupiter, Florida on March 28, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1956. Anne was a lifelong resident of Savoie, France and Palm Beach, Florida.
Anne was born in Chambery, Savoie, France and would go on to study and graduate from Lycee Prive Saint Ambroise. She would continue to study for a Master at l'ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris where she received her business degree. Anne met her husband Richard in Delray Beach in the early spring of 1986. Afterwards she would return to France where Richard joined her and lived for a year and they were married on June 11, 1988 in Tresserve, France.
Shortly afterwards Richard returned to the United States where she would eventually join him with her 6-year-old daughter, Julie from her previous marriage. The couple would find their first home together in Palm Beach where she would eventually open a French bakery in the Palm Beach Hotel. She left there and would eventually start a business with two other French ladies in Palm Beach where she worked at La Maison Fleurie as a Business Manager for over 20 years. The company would become very successful. She would also keep busy doing taxes and consulting her many friends. Anne was very well respected by many for her business sense and that included running her home and Real Estate acquisitions.
When Anne was not working, she could be found at the beach with her husband and her dogs which was her favorite place to be even though being born and raised in the French Alpes. Anne was also an avid skier and alpinist. She would eventually persuade her husband to purchase a second house on Sanibel Island in 2004 because that is where the shells were. They both loved Sanibel, so it wasn't a problem for Richard who loved to fish. Anne also picked up fishing with Richard and would end up traveling to numerous destinations in the Caribbean, Europe, South America and even Madagascar. Traveling in general was also something Anne enjoyed immensely. Her other passions were reading, doing puzzles, and card games with her friends.
Even though she lived in Florida, her family in France was always a priority. She was blessed with a very large family filled with love and would travel throughout France to visit them. Anne really enjoyed her time with her friends in Florida that happened to be French also but liked everyone and was just as close and admired by Richard's friends. She went to numerous Concerts over the years and always wanted to be in front and would usually find a way there.
Anne and Richard became inseparable from the first time that they met until the very end and loved each other dearly. They will reunite in Heaven when it is Richard's time. The couple resided together for one year in France, 27 years in Palm Beach and 9 years in Jupiter, Florida.
Anne is survived by her husband, Richard of 37 years; her daughter, Julie Pelerin; her sister, Claire Moucot; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Anne is predeceased by her parents, Jacques Moucot and Bernadette Cabaud -Moucot and two brothers, Pierre and Francois.
Anne will be forever loved, and her memory cherished by all that were fortunate enough to know her. She will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.
