Antonio Fernandez

85, of Jupiter passed away on December 21, 2014. Antonio was born in Havana, Cuba on February 13, 1929 to Antonio and Guillermina Fernandez. He was a strong willed man leaving the Cuban regime in the early 1960’s. He moved to Jamaica, then settled in California. Antonio was a strong business man. He traveled from California to Florida. He was the center of his family. Antonio led by example, working three jobs to support his family. He was determined to make a good life for his family.

Antonio is preceded in death by his daughter Maria Carmen Fernandez. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Lucia; his son Antonio M. Fernandez and wife Linda, daughter Maria Elena Pardo and husband John; grandchildren Jack Marquez, Yvette Alexander, Victor Marquez, Michael Marquez, Alyssa Benitez, Anthony Fernandez, Janelle Fernandez; Cousin Berta Yero; Great Grandchildren Jack Anthony Marquez, Jr., Jaquelyn Marquez, Aiden Alexander and Maeve Alexander; Grandson-in-law Conor Alexander, Granddaughter-in-law Ivon Marquez, and Grandson-in-law Christian Benitez.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd from 5-8 PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 12001 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta.
