Barbara L. Leo

BARBARA LINABURY LEO Barbara was born October 22, 1920 and she died on November 21, 2010 in Juno Beach, FL. She was the daughter of Lester H. Linabury and Helen L. Linabury. She was born in Mt. Vernon NY and grew up on Bronxville, NY.

Barbara spent most of her adult life in Stony Point and New Hampton which is in the Hudson Valley Region of the State of New York as a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She became a resident of the State of Florida in 1984 where she resided in Suni Sands and then Jupiter River Park in Jupiter and in 2001 she moved to The Waterford in Juno Beach FL.

She most enjoyed family and friends and on occasion the game of golf, was a member of the local Daughters of the American Revolution, a former member of the Jupiter River Park Beautification Committee, former member of the Waterford Welcoming Committee, and a member of St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church.

Predeceased by her husband Charles R. Leo, Jr.; brother, Howard D. Linabury; and sister, Catherine S. Leo. She is survived by her four sons Charles R. Leo (Grace) of South Miami, FL; William D. Leo (Diane) of Florida, NY and Jupiter, FL; James B. Leo (Leslie) of Highland Falls, NY; Thomas F. Leo (Barbara) of Delhi, NY; and daughter Barbara Sue Deal of Vienna, VA; as well as fourteen grand- children and thirteen great grandchildren.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. In New York arrangements are under the direction of Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY 10924.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Aycock Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Paul of the Cross Chapel in North Palm Beach, FL.
