Barry Speak, 75, died February 4, 2018. He is survived by his wife Jane, sons Mark (Amy) and Jon (Danielle) Speak, sisters Mary Ann Wickline (Hubert) and Kathy Gansz (Ed), and four grandchildren Jasmine, Sam, Kelly and Delaney.
Raised in St. Albans, WV, Barry graduated from East Tennessee State University and received his M.A. from Marshall University. He was a vocational rehabilitation counselor for the State of Florida and retired as an elementary guidance counselor for Martin County Schools.
Barry loved God, Jesus Christ, his family, his Florida and Colorado church families and golf. We celebrate Barry’s life at the First Presbyterian Church, 482 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, FL 33469 on Sunday, February 11th with worship at 10 AM, followed by fellowship and refreshments at 11 AM and a memorial service at 12 noon.
In his memory, Barry asked that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Tequesta and used for the Great Banquet, which he described as the most powerful spiritual experience in his life.
