It's been a year since she left us and I still miss her so much. It is suppose to get easier with time but I'm not finding that true. Hi Jim and Shea,  I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of Aunt Betty today as I do every day.  Especially today being her Birthday.  She always called me on mine and I always called her on hers.  I really miss talking to her all the time and am sure it is harder for you.My prayers are still with you guys and John often. I have many fond memories of Betty and here brothers and sister. I lived with her family for a couple of my younger years. We all got along and was always made part of their family.  We had a lot of fun times together.

  I am so sorry for your loss. I know the pain our family is in up here and can't imagine what you guys are going through. I haven't spent much time with Aunt Betty through my adult life. Thinking back on childhood memories, our families were very close. Get togethers were all happy times and laughter. I remember Aunt Betty always made everything fun. 
   My mom and Aunt Betty(sister and sister as they would say) were the perfect example of what sisters are. No matter the miles between they remained close and connected. My mom misses her so much. I came across some old pictures recently and they show how much fun they had together, always laughing and just loved each other so much. I want to share them with you. I wish my children would have gotten the chance to get to know what a great, fun loving person she was,instead of me telling them. We will all miss you Aunt Betty.

I so wish that I could have visited Aunt Betty more. Thank God that I was able to take that long vacation a few years ago and spend time down there.  We had so much fun riding the carts around Disney and spending time together.  I'm also glad that she got to meet my 2 oldest grandchildren, Jeffrey and Akira.  They both remember her. I will always remember the good times we had even before she moved to Florida!!! When Angela was a baby and I lived in Essex she would ride all the way down from Hampstead on her day off from Giant and spend time with us. What a Great Godmother!!!  I'm so sad and will miss her and keep her in my heart always.  I'm so sorry for all of you down there.  Love,  Cheryl

           Her Journey's Just Begun 

Don't think of Betty as gone away-her journeys just begun,life holds so many facets- this earth is only one. 

Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years.

Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.

And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched...for nothing loved is ever lost-and she was loved so much.

My thoughts are constantly with you as we grieve for Betty. I will surely miss her and will always hear her call me "Sister". We spent many hours on the phone each month keeping each other up dated and our families, and updating each other. We had a loving relationship as sisters, we never had a disagreement in our adult life. I feel so much sorrow now, that I feel that will never end. I miss her terribly. Will this pain and heartache ever get easier. I'm just grateful that she is now at peace. In loving memory of my sweet sister.

I miss my mom so much. There are some things only a mom can understand and I want to pick up the phone so bad and hear her voice.  I will always treasure my last visit with her and the chance to tell her how much I love her. I just want my mom back.  Even at the end she thought of others. She loved her grandsons so much and always made me feel better when I was down.  A piece of my heart is missing and the void is overwhelming. Love you forever Mom.

Say not in grief, she is no more, but live in thankfulness that she was.  
Our hearts and prayers go out to Betty's family and my brother Johnny that you will find comfort and peace in God's arms right now since He has called Betty home.

Even though we were not together, Betty was my life for 30 years and the mother of my children.    Her passing brings back many of the cherished  memories of the wonderful times we shared and the friends and family we had together. I am morning her very emotionally again.

For 30 years she was my life and the mother of my children.  Even thought we weren't still together, her passing hurts me deeply.  There will always be wonderful memories of a special girl.

Nanny was the best grandma ever. I will miss her forever. she was the most important thing i was worrying about when she was in the hospital, and nothing will replace her. I will always love her. But she is much happier now she will live in peace and out of pain. She will always watch over our family. I love you.....Bria

You choose the man you want to spend the rest of your life with and an extended family comes along with him.  I could not or would not have chosen a more perfect lady as my mother-in-law.  Betty was more than that to me, more like my own mom.  You will forever be in my heart and my memories, I love you.

My mom was truly the best. I am the luckiest person on the face of the earth because she was my mom. I saw her almost everyday and it will never be the same without her.

Thanks Cheryl..... My mom was the best without a doubt. No one ever cared about me as much as she did. I am the luckiest person to ever walk the face of this earth, because of my mom. I will truly miss her for the rest of my life.
