Carl (Carmelo) was the best man in my parents wedding on Nov. 29, 1958 in Rhode Island. My parents are Carmelo (Charlie) and Tommasa (Marcy) Sottile. It was interesting that like Carl, my mom, who was also born in February of 1938 passed away on Nov. 16th, 2020, the day before Carl. Carl was a great lifelong friend to my parents. I felt bad for my father when he moved to Florida, because Carl was always upbeat and fun to be with. May they rest in peace.

Our sincere condolences to you, Barbara, and your entire family with the passing of your Father, Carl. We always enjoyed the heart-warming stories you would share about him. His love & zest for life, dancing, driving, dating & dining. We were also moved by the way he cared for your Mother. May you be comforted by such fond memories and by God's care.

Carmine was a kind man. I will miss his cheery disposition and his annual Christmas card to our family. He always was eager to talk about his days at Pratt & Whitney with my husband who also worked there for many years. We extend condolences to his daughters (my friends), Linda and Barb, and to his son Benny as well as other family and friends.
