There is so much to say! We went to school together since grammar school. We double dated in high school and even double dated for our senior prom. We had so many laughs! After high school we drifted apart until our 20th class reunion. Carol and I then rekindled our friendship. At that time she was her mother's caregiver who was suffering from leukemia. When Mrs. Sunser passed, I helped Carol plan the wake, funeral and the mass. Three days later, my mother suddenly passed away.
Over 20 years ago Carol shared her famous ricotta cheese pie recipe with me. It has been a staple every year for my Easter dinner. My family and extended family always look forward to having it every year. I will fondly remember Carol, especially when I bake the pie, for many years to come.
Good bye my old friend, fly high with the angels and may you now be free of pain and at peace with our Lord.

I remember chatting with her on the phone and laughing hysterically because Carol was so honest and blunt. All I can ever remember during our face to face chats and phone calls was the fact that she had me smiling from ear to ear every time. Carol your and angel now looking down on us from Heaven.
