Born in the Bronx, New York, on August 5, 1943, Carol was truly the rock of her family. Her life was defined by unwavering strength, deep faith, and an extraordinary capacity for love. To know Carol was to know true joy; her vibrant sense of humor and infectious laughter filled every room, leaving a lasting impact on every heart she touched. Carol will be remembered for her boundless kindness, generous heart, and selfless nature. She devoted her life to caring for others, always placing the needs of her family and loved ones before her own. Her love was constant, unconditional, and evident in every act of compassion she gave so freely.
Carol’s greatest pride and joy was the family she built and nurtured. She was the beloved wife and lifelong partner of Charles Trepcos Sr. whom she shared 61 years of marriage with. She was a devoted and loving mother to Charles Trepcos Jr. and Kerry Bree LoCascio, and a cherished mother-in-law to Paula Trepcos and Adam LoCascio. She also shared a lifelong bond with her beloved sister, Mary Ellen Cleary, built on countless treasured memories. Carol is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, Bridget and Peter Martin, and her four older brothers, Peter, Eugene, Dennis, and Vincent.
Her legacy shines brightest through her cherished grandchildren—Nicholas, Patrick, Jessica Bree, Ava Bree and Samantha Rose—each of whom carried a special place in her heart. She adored watching them grow and took immense pride in the people they became. Through them, her legacy of kindness, resilience, unconditional love, and the importance of family will live on for generations to come.
Carol found her greatest joy in life's simple blessings—gathering her family around the table, preparing meals with love, expressing her creativity through art, and creating a home where everyone felt welcome, loved, and cared for. Her gift for bringing people together created memories that her family will cherish forever.
While her presence will be deeply missed, Carol's love remains woven into the lives of all who knew her. Her unwavering faith, gentle strength, generous spirit, and the countless memories she leaves behind will continue to comfort and inspire her family for the remainder of their days.
