Charles “Wendell” McEver was born on March 16, 1948 in Cairo, Georgia. He passed on December 17, 2024. He was 76 years old. In 1966, Wendell graduated from Riviera Beach High School, then served in the Marine Corps, specializing in helicopter electronics. He worked in engine testing and electronics at Pratt & Whitney for 37 years. In 1977, Wendell married Ann Cato, and they were married for 46 years. He was an avid car guy and loved hot rods, especially all of the many cars that he owned in his lifetime. He is survived by his wife Ann, his two children, Brian and Pris, as well as his canine best friend Charlie. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Wendell was predeceased by his father, mother, and sister Vivian.
Ashes interment will be on January 17th at 9:00 a.m. at the South Florida National Cemetery.
Celebration of Life will be on January 18th, between 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge at 3600 RCA Blvd PBG.
