It is with tremendous sorrow to share that our dear Charlotte Anne Carver, who is described by anyone who knew her as having the smile of an angel, passed away suddenly in a car accident on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the age of 11.

Charlotte is survived by her mother and father, Leah and Allen Carver and her older sister, Ella Carver, as well as a loving web of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

With a zest for life and joy large enough to light the world, Charlotte has a voracious appetite for good food, from Brussel sprouts to her mother’s Shepherd’s pie. Anyone who met her, loved her instantly and she exuded spunk, fierce passion and a great sense of humor. Her contagious giggle lit every classroom she was in, extending into so many lives of both children and adults.

Charlotte is a dancing spark of light and was very proud for her first pair of pointe shoes, a goal she worked towards for many years. She loved being in the Nutcracker Ballet and loved music, singing and dressing up. She adores shoes.

Most of all Charlotte loved her mom, dad, sister and all her family, her pets and her friends. She held love for others in every word she spoke, pushing into life with deep curiosity and a desire to see what is good in the world. She loved the beach, the woods, and the mountains of North Carolina. She loved to run in nature and horses, and being home at her farm. She loved to tell people she was born at home in the bathtub and loved babies, who in turn adored her right back.

Charlotte Anne Carver leaves this earthly world but we see her still dancing and laughing. She leaves us all, having showered us with her joyful, playful, miraculous, insightful and intuitive genius. With her presence we have all been most truly blessed. Charlotte is the definition of real love.

Funeral services for Charlotte will be held Monday, November 23 at noon at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. The family will have an open visitation from 11am until noon.

Although Charlotte and I were not very close, I have many fun memories with her. She was always such a bright, loving, caring girl. One specific memory I have of her, was when we were at the Bramham’s house. We were playing Hide and Seek at night, and all the lights were off. By the time Charlotte, Julia and I were seeking during the game, we had all become scared of the dark. The most exciting part was hearing the word “Scared” whispered to us... but we didn’t know where it came from, so we all screamed really, REALLY loud. Charlotte did not hesitate to scream directly in my ear as we all teleported into the corner of the room. After the game finished, we all laughed together. It was one of the best games of my life.

I will forever miss Charlotte Carver, as the funny, wholesome girl she was. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.

With warm regards,
Isabella Rossi

I had the honor of meeting Charlotte this past summer when she came to NC to visit her grandmother Anne, who is my dear friend. It was a pleasure meeting all of Anne’s children and grandchildren. But I knew when I first met her that Charlotte was very special. She had a glowing, happy presence that I’ve rarely encountered. I was drawn to her energy and her infectious smile. I spent time talking to her about her life in FL, her love for animals (which I share) and her love of dance. Her visit to NC was filled with outdoor adventures, making yummy food with her grandmother, and making wonderful memories. It was my privilege to be a tiny part of Charlotte’s visit. She truly touched my heart. I had hoped to spend more time with her again some day.
My heart breaks for the family and for their inconsolable grief. I barely knew her and I, myself, am grieving her loss.
This past weekend, I hiked to the top of Mount LeConte in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, with Charlotte’s family weighing heavy on my mind and heart. As I set out to hike back down the mountain, I found a rock with a little leaf, in the shape of a heart, laying on top of it. I picked it up and I placed it at the summit of Mt LeConte, in memory of Charlotte. I will never forget her. Never.

Charlotte,
Sweet angelic soul. You were such a bright light in this world, and wherever you went sunshine followed. Your smile was infectious to those around you, and the love you had inside was felt by anyone near you. I loved it when you saw me how you'd come running, taking my hand and eager to show me whatever you were doing. I loved playing Uno and Wizard meeting your more competitive side. You were a true angel here as you are in heaven, and I can't wait until we meet again.
Sending you all of my love on the next part of your journey❤
Your friend ,
Ashley Jo

Dear Charlotte
It's just over a year since your Mom brought you to stay with us in Durham after meeting up with you in Ilkley. We had a lovely family get-together and managed to include a (comparatively) small 10th birthday celebration for you in among it all 🎂.
You touched all our hearts with your bright inquisitiveness, your immediate love of family you were meeting for the first time and, basically, your love of life in general.
It has been such a cruel twist of fate which has taken you from your loving family and friends. We will never forget your happy smiling face. Rest in peace little one...may the Lord enfold you in his love. Joe, Kath and family xxxx

I’ve never ever met someone, who is as nice and flexible as her. I’ve never had a friend, that actually included my huge family and siblings, not even in question to her, that my crazy switching schedules, and I doubt I ever will find a friend as perfect as she was. She’s was the kind of friend you would look for, and not even be able with to find, because she is so rare. Her loyalty, dedication, and friendship, was never ever questioned in the friendship we had. Shes also so incredibly talented, in the way, of learning quickly and her dancing is no less than perfection. One time, she pirouetted in my room, and I said “do it again”. I just watched her do this magical thing, and she just said “I’m still working on it though.” Her average, was perfection, I would never expect less, from her, being the amazing person she is.
Thank you, for being the most memorable person, I could EVER ask for and more.

Dearest Charlotte,
What a very special child you are. You radiate so much love and happiness and it bounces straight back to you.
You have touched the hearts of so many people in so many places. You are wise beyond your years.
We are going to miss your infectious smiles and giggles . Your visit to me last year in England was amazing, full of joy and laughter and you celebrated your 10th birthday.
Night after night around the dinner table you kept us all entertained with your funny stories ,impersonations and antics! We said you should be on the stage!
You will be so missed, but remembered always for your love, joy and happiness.

Charlotte was only in my class for a few months, but she only needed to be there for a couple days to stand out. She had a wonderful spirit and bright personality that showed from the start! Our class will miss her positivity and strong leadership in the room, but I know she will be singing along with us from above.
