Darlene I will always remember your smile as you introduced yourself to me at City Hall and offered to assist me in any way you could. You were a constant reminder of what to fight for and what to let go of, I know this are resting and God is saying well done my good and faithful servant. Prayers and peace to the family for their loss for they know where you are and that you are watching over them.

You were such a major part of Riviera Beach. You were such a major part of Jupiter. Every conversation that we ever had was encouraging and insightful. You advised me on how to be a community leader. You pushed me to be more , you pushed me to do more, you pushed me to give more. I respectfully say goodbye to one of the kindest individuals I have ever met. Your presence will be deeply missed by all, but your spirit will remain in our hearts.

There are no words to express this loss of my friend and partner in the love our communities. Darlene Hatcher was a fearless leader and knew how to do things and how to get to the solutions that are needed. She walked the walk and talked the talk. I am going to miss your smile and that amazing chuckle that I got to share so many times at our meetings. Thank you sweet Darlene for all you did in Limestone Creek with me and the Solid Waste Authority's Adopt A Spot program. You are my hero and fearless leader for now and forever. We all love you so much and always will. I know you will take care of all the other angels in Heaven and watch over all of us here on earth that would be honored to carry on one of your many missions I know you know how loved you are.....

What do you say about a person who has everything. What a blessed young lady Darlene was. To have the love and respect of friends, family, co-workers, church and strangers speaks for itself. I remember once we were at dinner after a successful RBCRA meeting and Darlene was giving her fiance David a hard time (in fun). He looked at her and smiled and said but I love you anyway. Shut her right up and all we all laughed. Darlene had such an infectious laugh until she would make others laugh when it was not always funny. Rest In Peace Stomper! Smiles!

I can't believe it, but i wish all of your family Darlene, peace and some comfort in each other and memories of your beautiful spirit. My prayers are for them, and you. God will provide. I know your wonderful voice, over the phone, was always so warm, and you helped the Florida Redevelopment Association a great deal over the years. If you were involved, there was no question about an outstanding effort and result. We laughed together sometimes, and commiserated about our mutual challenges. Thank you for all you did, all the people you touched so sweetly, You have always been a positive person, and you will be missed very much.
