David graduated from Thornton Fractional Township High School South. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He married Donna Lee on August 13, 1966 and together they shared 54 years of marriage.
David was employed as a System Analyst for Pratt & Whitney for 33 years before his retirement. He enjoyed computer programming, coin and stamp collecting, playing with his grandchildren, investing and tax preparation.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Flynn; a daughter, Erin Noxon; a son, Ryan Flynn; three grandchildren, Sage, Elora and Ember Noxon; two sisters, Connie Gutierrez and Kathleen Sorensen and a brother, Dan Flynn.
