Dolores Gene Hansson

Dolores Gene Hansson, 77 of Tequesta FL passed away on January 8, 2019. She was born in Pittsfield, MA on December 8, 1941; the daughter of the late Eleanor Balmer (Breen) and Douglas Balmer.

A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Dolores is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as many friends. She loved each and every one of her family deeply, and was loved deeply in return. Dolores was a true friend and will be missed so very much.

She is predeceased by a brother, Samuel Balmer and her granddaughter, Dolores “Christina” Smith.

She is survived by her children, Dolores T. Smith of Palm Beach Shores, FL, Jo Ann Pike, and her spouse Charles of Fort Pierce, FL, Jeffrey A. DeLuca and his spouse Suzanne of Jupiter, FL and James D. “Jerry” DeLuca of Tequesta, FL; grandchildren, Natalie Huntley and her spouse Matthew of Lake Mary, FL, Samantha Maldonado (Smith) and her spouse Tony of Lantana, FL, Cheyenne DeLuca of CA, James Smith of FT. Lauderdale, FL, Jeff DeLuca of Washington State, Joshua DeLuca of Jupiter, FL and Jesse DeLuca, also of Jupiter, FL; great grandchildren, Ayden & Elayna Huntley of Lake Mary, FL, .Corrina, MJ, and Theo Maldonado of Lantana, FL; and siblings, Eleanor Lewis of MA and Douglas Balmer JR of RI.

Now that Dolores is residing in God’s kingdom, family and friends will gather together at 408 E. Weatherbee Rd, Fort Pierce FL 34982, in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to offer prayers, comfort, and to reflect.
