Dorothy embraced life with a spirit of adventure. She found joy in traveling the world, especially through cruising—experiences that brought both excitement and treasured memories. Whether trying her luck at the casino or indulging in shopping, Dorothy approached each moment with enthusiasm. Above all else, time spent with family was what she valued most.
Dorothy shared a remarkable life with her beloved husband, Michael, with whom they celebrated 64 years of marriage together, built a close-knit family that brought them immense joy and pride, and was president of their corporation, Sunray Plastics, which they founded in 1978. Dorothy is lovingly remembered by her son, Michael and his wife Kay; daughter, Kathy; grandchildren, Allison (Dylan) and Daniel (Jessica); great-grandchildren Nicholas, Jace, and Jonathan; her brother Thomas and sister, Barbara, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and John Busalacchi, as well as brothers, John and Robert.
A person of faith, Dorothy was a devoted member of the Catholic community throughout their life. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Center, located at 1112 Military Trail in Jupiter, Florida.
