Evelyn Lanier Frazier

Evelyn went to be with our Lord on June 7, 2025, with most of her family present. Evelyn was born in WPB at Good Samaritan Hospital on May 24, 1929. She was the first of two daughters born to Ruby Fortner Lanier and Elzie Lanier of Jupiter.

Evelyn grew up with the pioneers in Jupiter with her younger sister, Delories Epinger (Bud) and graduated from Jupiter School, now Jupiter Elementary. She married Gerald P. O’Leary, and they had 4 children, Phyllis (Keith Svane), Glenda Lavin O’Leary, Daniel P. O’Leary and Timothy E. O’Leary (Heather Crooks). Evelyn had 7 grandchildren, Danielle Hall, Michelle Whittaker, Toi Svane Stepp (John), Timothy K. Svane, Ryan and Tessa O’Leary and Misty Carver (Justin); 9 great grandchildren, Chad O’Leary, Trenton, Tristin, Trey Whittaker, Rigby and Colbie Stepp, Ethan and Evan Gnieski, Brinsley and Emmie Carver; her beloved nephews, Raymond Boyson, Thomas Boyson (Karen) and Ronnie Foreman (Susan); and numerous friends and family. Evelyn Married Jack Frazier in 1979 and added many beloved stepdaughters and stepsons and their families to her family.

Evelyn enjoyed traveling and especially flying with her husband Jack in his small planes. She loved fishing, cooking, sewing and making porcelain dolls. In her later years she opened Lighthouse Seafood Market in Lake Mary Florida with her son Tim and his wife Heather and daughter Glenda. They added a second location in The Villages with son Danny. Evelyn’s prepared meals were so popular, Tim opened a Café using all Evelyn’s recipes, among which are her famous Key Lime Pies and Clam Chowder. She loved hearing how much the customers loved her foods.

Evelyn was a kind, loving, supportive mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to so many. She will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank Evelyn’s Doctors, Hospice nurses and staff at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residences who were so patient and kind to her in her last year.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458, followed by a graveside service from 2:30 PM.
