Faith was born on May 18, 1943 in Cuddy, PA to Thomas and Charlotte (Rakoczy) Meneskie. She graduated from Bethlehem-Center Senior High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History and a Masters of Arts in Communications, Film History & Theory, from Missouri State University. She worked for Missouri State University as the library’s Head of Audio Visuals and taught classes in the Department of Communication and Art + Design Department, before retiring as the Assistant Director of the Springfield Art Museum.
Faith was gifted in the art of hospitality and happiness by welcoming friends and loved ones to her house for delectable dinners, meaningful conversations, and an abundance of good company. She was also a mother to all, attending to a neighborhood of kids frequently brought home by her boys. Faith was an enthusiastic chef and baker, loved to travel, a voracious reader, and a huge supporter of the arts. Most of all, she was a giving and caring wife, a nurturing mother, and an entertaining grandmother. Her smile and laugh were infectious, and her eyes gleamed with love.
Faith was preceded in death by her father, Thomas, her mother, Charlotte, and her brother Bill. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Hugh, her two children, Adam and Ian, four grandchildren, Emeline, Finnegan, Patrick, and Cooper, her two brothers, Gerald and Rick, and two cherished daughters-in-law, Melissa and Ann-Elizabeth.
