Born on December 20, 1938 in Lawndale, CA, to Hazel M. (McGill) and William J. Croley. Frances graduated from Redondo High School in California. She lived and traveled many places throughout the country as she was growing up. Fran and her husband Bobby were longtime residents of Jupiter, FL and Columbus, GA.
Fran was a beloved mother to her two children Michael Lennon and Anna (Rispaud) Monteiro. She was Grandma Franny to her four grandchildren Erin (Monteiro) Ohlsen (husband Jason), Evan Monteiro, Jessica Lennon and Julia Lennon. And, was Gigi to her two great-grandchildren Sadie and Piper Ohlsen. In addition, Fran is survived by her step daughter Sheila Jackson, sister in-law Mary Rios, seven step grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren, two step nieces and a step nephew.
For those that knew Fran, you know how much her family meant to her. Whenever possible she boasted about her beautiful family and all of their achievements big and small. She loved the times when her family was all together and being silly. Fran was more than a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She was a friend, confidant and your biggest cheerleader. For these reasons and so much more she will be deeply missed.
Fran always enjoyed her trips to her local Publix, CVS, and the Texaco Station; she made friends wherever she shopped. She adored her family doctor and his staff; always saying how sweet she thought each of them was. She loved all of her nurses at Jupiter Medical Cancer Center and she cherished the deep connection she shared with her Hospice nurse and Hospice Chaplin who became her closest confidants.
Fran is united in heaven with her loving husband Bobby, step daughter Roberta, parents Hazel and William, brothers: Robert and Clarence, and sister Ruth.
Mom, you will be forever in our hearts and forever loved and we will miss your sugars.
