Frances Ferlisi Donza

Frances Ferlisi Donza, 66, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on March 14, 2024 at St Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Frances was born in Trenton, New Jersey and grew up in Levittown, Pennsylvania.

She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where she was a member of the swim team. Growing up Fran was full of life and everyone wanted to be around her unless you were her opponent in pinochle. She was a fun loving, spirited person who always put others first. Fran was a fantastic swimmer and also enjoyed boating and skiing at the lake on the weekends. Fran started in the Home Design Industry working as a store manager for Levitz Furniture. After having her first child Nicole, she became a stay at home mom until they relocated to West Palm Beach, FL where she began in the Custom Home Building industry. For the last 20+ years she has been the jack of all trades, but officially the Project Coordinator for Phoenix Custom Homes, where she was loved by many of the vendors and associates in her field.

Aside from work, Fran was devoted to her family and grandchildren whom she often visited until they moved to Florida to be with her. Outside of work she enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and pool, ceramics, walking along Flagler, shopping, dining out, and hosting holiday parties. She loved to cook!

She was a kind, strong and compassionate woman who was dedicated to her family. Fran was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, godmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Frances is survived by husband, Johnny Donza of West Palm Beach, FL; a daughter, Nicole Crouse Brunner and son-in-law Rod Brunner of West Palm Beach, FL; two granddaughters, Brielle and Gianna Brunner; her mother, Pia Rizzo McNerney of Lake Worth, FL; three sisters, Caroline Ferlisi of Doylestown, PA; Maria Clarkson (John Clarkson) of Bensalem, PA and Patricia Del Rossi (Joseph Del Rossi) of Austin, TX; a nephew, Christopher Clarkson (Patty Clarkson); nephew and godson, Kyle Clarkson (Janine Clarkson); a niece and goddaughter, Gabrielle Del Rossi; two step-children, Noelle and Michael Donza; a grandchild, Jax Sanchez as well as her beloved cats, Freska and Anna Tigger.

Fran is predeceased by her son, Francis Glenn Crouse; her father, Carmen L Ferlisi; a sister, Angela Ferlisi; her grandparents, Pietro and Angela Ferlisi and Caroline and Frank Rizzo; her aunt, Stella Zoladz and her stepfather, Tommy McNerney.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. Visitation and a Reception will follow until 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fran’s memory to www.stjude.org/donate or www.pancan.org.
