George DeVoe

Mr. DeVoe was born in Amityville, New York to the late George DeVoe and Anna Marie Klein DeVoe and lived there until retiring down to Lake Park, FL in Dec 2010. Mr. DeVoe was a retired truck driver who worked 30 plus years for Allied Van Lines. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald DeVoe.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Elaine DeVoe of Lake Park, Florida. His loving children, daughter Vickie Greene of Jupiter, Florida and sons James Votino of Lake Park, Florida and Christopher Votino of Riveria Beach, Florida. Mr. DeVoe also had three wonderful grandchildren Thomas Greene, Alexandria Poliar and Alicia Votino. Sister Carol Gilmore of Rochester, New York and many nieces and nephews, Kevin, Rick (Judy), Jeff (deceased), Karin (John), Kimberly, Melisa and Donald along with his great nephews, William and Dylan King.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
