Gerard was a resident of Pompano Beach, Florida and Breezy Point, NY. He was a retired Battalion Chief from the New York City Fire Department.
Gerard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa, in 2013. He is survived by his 4 children- Jeanine Nestor, Douglas Gearity, Colleen Kazman, Jennifer Sheridan – 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A viewing and memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2016 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at Aycock- Riverside Funeral Home in Jupiter Florida. A memorial mass will be held in Breezy Point NY at a later date.
