

Guy “Nino” Vitone, 79 of Jupiter, FL, formerly of Chicago passed away on August 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Bari Capurso, Italy on March 17, 1939; the son of the late Nicola and Angela Vitone.
Guy and Dorothy found each other and married in 1961 celebrating 57 years of marriage on August 5th. A master baker for 63 years Guy initially baked for Gonnella Baking Company in Chicago, Ill then for Publix Super Markets in FL prior to retiring.
He was a avid fan of all Chicago sports teams, loved baking bread, biscotti and pizza for his family & friends and traveling with family. Guy was a member and usher at St. Peters Catholic Church in Jupiter.
Christmas was his favorite holiday. Decorating his yard as early as October then hosting the official lighting ceremony on Thanksgiving eve for all to enjoy.
He’ll best be remembered by his family and friends as an easy going “Guy”, who loved his family and always lent a hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, his family, Laurel & Diane, Linda & Doug, Kathy & James, Dan & Janess, Erika & Ron, Andrew, Christopher & Tresea, Jennifer & Brad, Nicole, Rebecca, Mason, Kaylin, Henley, Stella, Connor, Jordan and Erin, Ann & Don Carbonara, Gina & Vito LaGioia and Vito Vitone; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Jack Vitone.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church at 10 am on Friday September 14th. 1701 Indian Creek Parkway Jupiter, FL 33458. A luncheon will follow and all are welcome to celebrate Guy’s life.
