

Harold Dean Brittain – 11/24/37 – 9/9/18 Harold Brittain was born in Lexington Oklahoma, he grew up in Good Water Oklahoma and was a rough neck in the oil fields until he was severely injured in an oil rig accident at the age of 19. He and his wife Sue moved to Jupiter Florida in 1962, they lived in Hammonds trailer park near his sister and brother in law, Nyla and Chester Archer. They had two children, Deana and Steve, they were the love of his life and he was so very proud of them. He was a bridge tender on the three bridges that existed in Jupiter and North Palm Beach, the Alt A1A bridge, Cato’s Bridge and the North Palm US1 Bridge. In 1968 he got a job at Pratt and Whitney where he was a Validation Inspector for 28 yrs. As soon as Harold moved to Jupiter he fell in love with the water, his love for fishing and bird hunting was his passion. He would Snook fish the bridges and Bass fish any pond that had water in it. He would quail hunt with Dave Farmer and Tommy Martin in Jupiter Farms. He had a lifetime of friendships with our trailer park crew and literally hundreds of work friends at Pratt and Whitney. His smile, personality and kind hugs will be missed by everyone he ever met.
He is survived by his wife Sue Brittain, His Daughter Deana (Brittain) Day, His Son in law David Day and his Son Steven and Carmen Brittain (daughter in law) and His Sister Nyla Archer.
His Grandchildren Kevin and Sarah Day and Angelica and Steven Cruz. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and extended family members. He is predeceased by his father Bryon S Brittain, his mother Josephine (Mullins) Brittain and his two brothers Wayne and Bill Brittain.
