Mom I will miss your smile, your laughter, all your funny stories, but most of all you.... I don’t have to tell anyone how fantastic you were because I just look into their eyes and see all the love in their hearts … Not only were you an amazing woman and mother, you were an incredible person that touched all our lives in so many ways....and I am so honored and incredibly happy that you were my mother...I love you always and forever...Nancie

Helen was always the life of any party. I sheltered at Nancie's with Helen there for a hurricane a few years ago. Helen was large and in change. Didn't even worry about the weather. Will miss you Helen.

Aunt Helen had to babysit Donald and I one weekend many many moons ago. Not sure where Chris & Greg were. Needless to say Donald & I started fighting and were sitting on the couch annoying one another. Your poor Mother, trying to deal with the two of us. She finally yelled at us and drew her finger to make an invisible wall between us and told us not to cross it. It didn’t really work b/c I could still see & hear Donald. I think I apologized many years later. I think she blocked it from her memory. :)

She was truly wonderful and always enjoyed our talks. She always talked to me like a grown up when I was a teen and I loved that.

I’m so happy we got to spend time with her this summer at Eddies’s. I’m even happier that she’ll be reunited with everyone who has gone before her. xoxo
