72, of North Palm Beach, formerly of Easton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.
Howard “Bud” was a prominent businessman, the CEO and an independent insurance broker for German, Hersloff and Swanson, Inc. He served honorably in the Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne.
Bud enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was known for his friendliness and will be greatly missed by everyone he knew.
He was predeceased by his parents, Susie Lee Spriggs and Howard N. German Sr.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jo; mother in law, Virginia Matthews; brother in laws, Sewell Matthews (Susan), Terry Matthews (Jane), and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, from 4pm to 6pm, at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 7, at 10:30am, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 13591 Prosperity Farms Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
Burial is to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach.
