Ileana M. Gonzalez

Ileana M. Gonzalez, age 82, passed away peacefully in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Born in 1943 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Ileana lived a life marked by determination, resilience, and a deep love for her family.

A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Ileana is survived by her children, Jose (wife Anabelis) and Ana; her grandchildren, Diego, Gaby, Lily, and Melanie; her great-grandchildren, Steven, Mateo, Lena, Jayden and Adrianna and her beloved sister and brother, Liliana and Villita.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Juan Gonzalez, with whom she will be laid to rest.

A passionate lifelong learner, Ileana earned her law degree while raising a family and working full-time — studying nights and weekends to eventually become a family law attorney. She inspired everyone around her with her strength, her stories, and her unwavering belief that it’s never too late to start something new. She taught us the value of hard work, the importance of perseverance, and that family always comes first.

Outside of her career, Ileana was an avid reader, loved scrapbooking and creating handmade cards, and found joy in listening to classical Spanish music.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. A burial will occur on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.

Ileana M. González, de 82 años, falleció en paz en Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Nacida en 1943 en Ponce, Puerto Rico, Ileana vivió una vida marcada por la determinación, la resiliencia y un profundo amor por su familia.

Fue una madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga dedicada. Le sobreviven sus hijos, José (esposa Anabelis) y Ana; sus nietos Diego, Gaby, Lily y Melanie; y sus bisnietos Steven, Mateo, Lena, Jayden y Adrianna. También deja a sus queridos hermanos, Liliana y Villita. Fue precedida en muerte por su amado esposo, Juan González, con quien será sepultada.

Apasionada por el aprendizaje, Ileana obtuvo su título de abogada mientras criaba a su familia y trabajaba a tiempo completo, estudiando por las noches y fines de semana. Fue una inspiración para todos los que la rodeaban, por su fuerza, sus historias y su convicción inquebrantable de que nunca es tarde para comenzar algo nuevo. Nos enseñó el valor del trabajo duro, la importancia de la perseverancia y que la familia siempre es lo primero.

Además de su carrera, Ileana disfrutaba de la lectura, el arte de hacer álbumes y tarjetas hechas a mano, y de la música clásica española.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el martes 8 de julio, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL. La sepultura será el miércoles 9 de julio a la 1:00 p.m. en el Cementerio Nacional de Bushnell, Área Ceremonial, en Bushnell, Florida.
