James M. Conlon, 45, of Jupiter, FL passed away on May 9, 2013 after a courageous struggle with ALS. Mr. Conlon was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from St. John's University. He was an astute businessman and financier who traveled the world. He began his career at TIAA Cref, one of the world's largest pension companies and completed more than $1.5 Billion in financings and investments. His latest venture was as founder of, Montauk Capital. He was predeceased by his mother, Ellen Maria Conlon in 2011 and his godson, Ryan Barrett in 2009. Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Denise Conlon of Jupiter,FL father; Dennis Conlon of Savannah, GA, sister; Mary Ellen Barrett of Long Island, NY, children; Patricia Conlon, Ann Elizabeth Conlon, Theresa Conlon, James Conlon, Jr. Mary Josephine Conlon, all of Wilton, CT, Katherine J. Conlon of Jupiter and a baby on the way; grandson, Robert Shuman of Wilton, CT and his good friend and business partner of many years, Victor Kiarsis or Rye, NY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church 1701 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park 19351 S.E. County Line Road, Tequesta, FL.
