May I take this opportunity to pass on my sincere condolences to Jim's close friends and family. Jim ran our car for the last 3-4 years. He ran a great race operation but the main reason we partnered up with Jim's shop was we just liked going racing with him. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Jim, he helped us, looked after us and laughed with us - race weekends with Jim were fun and that's why we loved him.
The photo below is from the 6 hour Enduro at Sebring with two of Jim's cars in the top three, Jim third from left. It started raining heavy and the red flag came out...in the pits I asked him if we were fitting wets and he just smiled at me and told me I'd be alright. I was.

Jim, you will be missed by many and going racing will not be the same without you. We will miss you mate.

Jim was one of the best Paramedics I have ever worked along side. He was known for his ability to extracate a person from the the worst most precarious situation, and pull them out alive. We lost touch through the years but he recently surprised me at my place of business. We were able to catch up with each other and reminisce. I'm so glad we did. Jim is one of a kind and will truly be missed. Rest in peace Jimbo!!

Wonderful man. Generous, friendly, always smiling, and willing to share a tip or story. We will miss him at the tracks, dinners, and paddocks. My prayers and condolences to the family and to all of Jim's many friends.

My condolences and prayers for Susan and his family. Jim and I have been friends for almost 40 years. He came by my shop when I was just 21 and introduced himself. He was a racer, and offered to help me get started in SCCA sports car racing. He was one of the nicest people I have known, and I will always be grateful for his friendship and help.
