Dr. Sawyer was born in Malone, New York on March 21, 1924 to the late Harry Allen Sawyer and Adeline Marsha Garlick Sawyer. Ds. Sawyer received a doctorate degree in nursing which enabled her to enrich the lives of many nursing students through her lectures and the textbooks she co-authored.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013, 1:00 pm at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 3995 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens,Florida, 33410
